'Ahoy! Lets Think! Today we answer the question what is the story of santa claus? Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas! Yes, we all know santa Claus as the big old jolly guy in a big red suit but did you know that before he lived in the north pole and brought presents to children he was a child himself named Nicholas. So let’s learn all about him! At a young age Nicholas was kind and generous and always tried to help people whenever he could. It made him happy to make others happy. One day Nicholas joined the church to help people even more and he loved it. And the people of the church loved him so much they made him a bishop! Bishop Nicholas wore a long red robe with a red hat, and he traveled on horseback. At every village, happy children would spot his bright robe from a distance and gather in the road to greet him. So he would spend his time going In one village, Nicholas heard the sad tale of a poor old man and his three young daughters. That night, while the whole village slept, Nicholas crept up to the hut where the three sisters lived. He climbed up to the rooftop to find the chimney and dropped three bags of gold, one by one, down the chimney Earlier that day, the three sisters had hung their newly washed stockings by the fireplace to dry. Each small bag of gold that Nicholas dropped fell into one of the stockings below. The next morning, the girls were overjoyed to find gold coins in their stockings. The story of these three sisters spread from village to village and other people began to hang their stockings by the fire, hoping to find a secret gift when they awoke the next morning Even after Bishop Nicholas death, people all over the world continued the tradition of giving presents to each other during Christmas time. But during Christmas time still got Christmas presents delivered to their homes… So that answers the question, what is the story of Santa Claus? That took some thinking!
